- Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on self-management techniques, promote independence, and enhance overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes to inform quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, contribute to departmental goals, and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Typically requires 4 years of experience in physical therapy.
- Clinical expertise in specific areas of rehabilitation or proficiency in a broad spectrum of care.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, and squat throughout the workday. The physical therapist must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from the floor to waist level, lift and carry up to 40 pounds at waist height, and push/pull with 30 pounds of force. The position also requires repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine manipulation during massage and joint mobilization.
