Job Title: MRI Technologist - Travel Position
Job Summary:
TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to fill a travel position in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and equipment, and to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in an MRI department
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
