Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working closely with physicians and providers to deliver seamless and efficient care delivery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care: Assist physicians/providers with examinations and treatments, obtaining vital signs, securing complaints, and entering information into patients' electronic medical records.
  2. Surgical Support: Participate in office surgeries using sterile procedure guidelines to prevent contamination.
  3. Laboratory Tests: Perform phlebotomy and laboratory tests as directed by physicians or physician assistants, adhering to state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from a vocational or technical school with training or apprenticeship.
  • BLS/CPR certification is required.
  • Certification as a medical assistant through a CMS recognized organization.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
