Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a caring environment. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
  • Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
  • Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition.
  • Assist with notifying attending physicians of emergencies and death of patients in the unit.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Willing to work as charge nurses and work as needed during emergencies.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
