The Night Auditor is a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk and financial systems. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for managing the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest requests, and performing various financial tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and requests.
- Perform financial tasks, including balancing transactions, preparing daily reports, and conducting security walks.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of guest folios, including handling payments, credits, and adjustments.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to company standards.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Previous supervisory responsibility is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
