Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement programs to enhance communication skills.
- Evaluate communication abilities through screenings and assessments.
- Conduct thorough assessments in areas of need.
- Facilitate therapy sessions aligned with individual care plans.
- Contribute to the creation of individualized care plans using a multidisciplinary approach.
- Re-evaluate patients as per state regulations.
- Engage in discussions regarding individual patient care when necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, administration, and other professionals.
- Work in partnership with community agencies and multidisciplinary teams focused on children's speech-language health.
- Encourage patient development and progress towards therapy goals.
- Identify patients at risk for future communication difficulties.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and outcomes.
- Manage caseloads, service delivery, and scheduling.
- Provide individualized therapy based on client needs.
- Consult and collaborate with professionals, families, and educators.
- Deliver services via teletherapy using various platforms.
- Assist the Clinical Manager and leadership team with operational and administrative tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Maryland licensure and ASHA Certification in good standing.
- Experience in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Flexible work schedule availability.
- Pediatric experience is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Employees in this role are not expected to encounter blood-borne pathogens. The position requires physical exertion, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
