Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement programs to enhance communication skills.
  • Evaluate communication abilities through screenings and assessments.
  • Conduct thorough assessments in areas of need.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions aligned with individual care plans.
  • Contribute to the creation of individualized care plans using a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Re-evaluate patients as per state regulations.
  • Engage in discussions regarding individual patient care when necessary.
  • Collaborate with parents, administration, and other professionals.
  • Work in partnership with community agencies and multidisciplinary teams focused on children's speech-language health.
  • Encourage patient development and progress towards therapy goals.
  • Identify patients at risk for future communication difficulties.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and outcomes.
  • Manage caseloads, service delivery, and scheduling.
  • Provide individualized therapy based on client needs.
  • Consult and collaborate with professionals, families, and educators.
  • Deliver services via teletherapy using various platforms.
  • Assist the Clinical Manager and leadership team with operational and administrative tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Maryland licensure and ASHA Certification in good standing.
  • Experience in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Flexible work schedule availability.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred.

Working Conditions:

Employees in this role are not expected to encounter blood-borne pathogens. The position requires physical exertion, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
