About the Role

We are seeking a Community Relations Specialist to join our team at Pittsburgh Regional Transit. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to build relationships with businesses and entities within our service area.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate with diverse communities and leaders, and a commitment to PRT's mission and values. Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing PRT in the region to build brand awareness and foster relationships with potential partners
  • Serving as a liaison between local businesses and PRT, fostering collaboration and communication
  • Managing partner pass programs, including enrollment, contract renewal, and communication with current business partners

Qualifications include a minimum of five years of progressive experience in community, government, or business relations, and strong decision-making and innovative problem-solving skills.
