Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Acute Psychiatric Services team at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide and coordinate nursing care to patients in the acute psychiatric setting, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
- Document interventions and progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care.
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent experience in Inpatient Psychiatry or Emergency Psychiatric nursing, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in area of clinical specialty, such as psychiatric-mental health nursing.
- Bachelor of Nursing degree, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and professional development.
