Your primary responsibility will be to meet the unique needs of clients while executing the following duties:

  • Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to their individualized care plans.
  • Provide assistance with medication, housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and companionship.
  • Complete various household tasks as outlined in the care plan.
  • Document daily activities and observations through the agency's management system.

Our Caregivers:

We prioritize a proper match between clients and caregivers through our CareMatch program. This initiative allows us to understand the specific needs of each client, ensuring the highest quality of care. Our caregivers receive training in the Comprehensive Care Way methodology to uphold our standards of excellence.

We carefully pair caregivers with clients by utilizing behavioral assessment tools to align caregiver traits with client preferences and requirements.

Additional Responsibilities of a Home Care Private Duty Caregiver:

  • Follow safety protocols while assisting clients.
  • Be physically capable of lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrate honesty, accountability, and integrity in all tasks.
  • Provide exceptional care to all clients.
  • Remain vigilant for any changes in a client's condition or care needs.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in line with company standards.
  • Punctually arrive for shifts and adhere to established schedules.
  • Report any suspicions of abuse or neglect according to specified procedures.
  • Document any unusual occurrences or behaviors accurately.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of all client information and records.
  • Engage in meetings and in-service training sessions.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures.
  • Protect sensitive information by complying with HIPAA regulations and company guidelines.
  • Perform any other assigned duties as required.
