Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate sales by using the S.A.L.E.S. process to help customers find products and meet their needs.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including new products and promotions.
  • Replenish stock, receive and process merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Assist with color matching and mixing paint, and provide recommendations to customers in the service areas.
  • Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Participate in periodic team meetings and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 6 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively with customers and associates.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
