Culinary Specialist

Hotel California by the Sea is seeking a skilled and compassionate Chef to join our team in Cincinnati, OH.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to lead our culinary team in providing healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prepare and cook meals in a safe, sanitary, and professional manner.
• Plan and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our clients.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and food storage.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• 6 months of experience as a professional chef.
• Current Food Handlers Permit/Certificate.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification/Training.
• Current PPD and Health Screening.
• Current State Driver's License.

• 1-3 years of experience as a professional chef.
• Excellent food preparation and culinary skills.
• Good menu and food management skills.
• Ability to accommodate meals to meet the needs of our clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, reliable, respectful, and team-focused mindset.
