Job SummaryThe Occupational Health Services RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. This includes performing the nursing process, using evidence-based practice, and ensuring that care is individualized and coordinated.
Key Responsibilities- Perform the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide high-quality patient care.
- Use evidence-based practice to ensure that care is individualized and coordinated.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, including research and research utilization, to promote safe and quality patient care.
- Participate in data collection and pose relevant clinical questions to advance evidence-based practice.
- Consult with experts and use appropriate resources and evidence to address practice questions.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
