About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Duly Health and Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, and vital sign collection
  • Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, and other first aid procedures
  • Assist with immunizations, injections, and prescription requests
  • Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests
  • Maintain clean and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
  • Provide excellent customer service and exemplify Duly Health and Care's CARE values
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
  • Active medical assistant certification through a recognized organization (e.g., AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, AAMA)
  • CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire required
  • May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
  • Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
  • Prior experience using an electronic medical record preferred
