We are looking for a Licensed Sports Rehabilitation Specialist to become part of our team. In this role, you will organize, oversee, and manage all aspects of athletic events and practices for contract schools or professional teams, facilitate healthcare access for athletes at designated locations, and create/execute tailored therapeutic programs for the recovery of injured athletes. Your focus will include injury prevention and assessment, risk evaluation and corrective action planning, first aid administration, health education, health promotion, and marketing initiatives. U.S. Physical Therapy's robust patient base reinforces its reputation for providing effective, customized healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess injuries and formulate treatment and exercise strategies within the professional scope. Reassess treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Implement personalized therapeutic interventions and monitor therapy responses to guarantee client safety. Communicate progress and medical updates to the referring physician.
  • Provide education to clients, families, and coaches regarding injuries, risk factor adjustments, and exercise regimens.
  • Conduct injury screening clinics, educational sessions, and workshops to advocate for safety and injury prevention.
  • Maintain documentation of patient treatment in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in athletic training or a related discipline from an accredited athletic training program.
  • NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer or eligible for licensure.
  • CPR/First Aid instructor certification preferred but not mandatory.
