Key Responsibilities- Registration and Eligibility Verification: Ensure patients are accurately registered for all service lines, perform eligibility verification, and obtain pre-cert and/or authorizations as required.
- Financial Arrangements and Payment Management: Make financial arrangements, request and receive payments for services, and perform cashiering functions to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain a close working relationship with clinical partners to ensure open communication and collaboration between clinical, ancillary, and patient access departments.
- Customer Service: Provide exemplary service to both internal and external customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including PBX (switchboard) coverage and support.
- Education: High School Graduate or GED
- Skills and Experience: Proven experience in patient access, registration, or a related field; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
