Grants Coordinator II:

Oversee the submission of external funding proposals, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.

Offer specialized assistance to faculty and staff in the acquisition and finalization of external proposals. Supervise and train department-level staff involved in grant activities. Collaborate with diverse teams to coordinate proposal submissions and budget preparation. Support post-submission and non-financial post-award processes, including sponsor inquiries and Just-In-Time documentation.
Grants Coordinator III:

Provide comprehensive oversight for the submission of external funding proposals, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, federal, and sponsor regulations.

Deliver specialized guidance to faculty and staff in understanding, acquiring, and finalizing external proposals. Mentor and train other staff within the Office of Sponsored Programs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate proposal submissions and budget development. Assist with post-submission activities and non-financial post-award processes, including sponsor inquiries and Just-In-Time documentation.

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in grant proposal review and submission; equivalent education/experience considered. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proven ability to establish trust and effective working relationships with clients. Demonstrated organizational, communication, interpersonal, and client service skills. Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and web browsers. Experience must reflect problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Grants Coordinator III:
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of pre-award research administration experience at a university or public institution; equivalent education/experience considered. Knowledge of Uniform Guidance and experience with electronic proposal submission systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proven ability to establish trust and effective working relationships with clients. Demonstrated organizational, communication, interpersonal, and client service skills. Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and web browsers. Experience must reflect problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Grants Coordinator I:
Basic understanding of grant proposals, budgets, and sponsor guidelines within a university context. Familiarity with relevant systems.

Grants Coordinator II:
Experience in grant proposal review and submission within a university context. Familiarity with relevant systems and certifications.

Grants Coordinator III:
Master's degree with extensive experience in pre-award research administration tasks. Familiarity with relevant systems and certifications.
