We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Planner to join our team at Constellation Energy Generation, LLC. As a Mechanical Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our mechanical maintenance systems.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare work packages for mechanical maintenance activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance manual, company policies, and applicable codes and standards.
- Select and approve purchase of materials needed for work package execution.
- Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Interface with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues.
- Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for planned work packages.
- Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with applicable station procedures.
- Approve and review work packages to ensure safety, quality, and technical rigor.
- Develop, revise, and review maintenance procedures to maintain compliance with codes, standards, and vendor recommendations.
- Provide project management of other system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall package preparation.
- Participate in work control/scheduling meetings, planning feedback/craft interface time, and other relevant activities.
- High school diploma with a minimum of four years of experience in the craft discipline being planned for.
- Four-year technical degree with five years of experience in the discipline being planned for.
- Two-year technical degree with seven years of experience in the discipline being planned for.
- In lieu of degree, nine years of experience in the discipline being planned for.
- Five years of power plant or related experience.
- Four-year or two-year technical degree.
- Successful completion of core supervisory/management training and development programs.
- Five years of minimum experience in nuclear power plant operations.
