University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute basic clinical competence in general radiology, including fluoroscopy, in all locations across all patient types.
  • Apply knowledge of radiology principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, radiation protection and physics, radiographic positioning and patient care skills.
  • Document accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.
  • Ensure a safe and appropriate work environment, maintaining supplies and inventory in area.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives and efforts to improve workflows, patient experience and quality.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or Certificate in radiologic technology from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  • Registered with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Licensed Radiographer - State of MD
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
