Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team at Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino. As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Management
    • Process and reconcile vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
    • Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues
    • Ensure all vendor information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations
    • Ensure all financial records are compliant with regulatory requirements
    • Provide financial reports and analysis to management as needed
  • Payment Processing
    • Process payments to vendors in a timely and accurate manner
    • Ensure all payments are properly authorized and approved
    • Maintain accurate records of all payments made
  • Other Duties
    • Assist with month-end close and year-end audit processes
    • Provide support to other departments as needed
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to sit for long periods of time
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
    • Ability to work in a smoke-filled environment
