About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at Legence, a leading provider of advisory services and implementation focused on financing, designing, building, and servicing complex systems in mission-critical and high-performance facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation solutions for industrial processes
  • Implement and commission automation systems, including hardware design and selection, PLC programming, and HMI development
  • Manage automation project budgets and mentor team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation and controls
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in process automation and controls
  • Strong knowledge of automation platforms, including Rockwell, Siemens, and DeltaV
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms, such as Ignition, GE Cimplicity, and Wonderware
  • Practical knowledge of specifying, implementing, and configuring networked VFDs and data acquisition systems
