Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting our attorneys with case management, document preparation, and trial support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including case management, legal research, and document preparation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurately recorded.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize case law, statutes, and legal documents.
  • Prepare and organize exhibits, documents, and evidence for trials and hearings.
  • Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including drafting trial binders and scheduling witness interviews.
  • File legal documents with courts and manage court deadlines and calendaring.
  • Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and other discovery materials.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as correspondence, filing, and data entry related to litigation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited program.
  • 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the litigation process and court procedures in New Jersey.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and legal software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
