As a PGT Graduation Enhancement Teacher, you will play a critical role in providing academic support to at-risk students and implementing instructional programs that promote academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to support students' academic growth and development.
  • Provide intensive academic support to students who are off-track, including tutoring and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate technology into classroom instruction and promote student engagement.
  • Implement evidence-based instructional strategies to prevent and intervene in academic difficulties.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Education or a related field.
  • Two years' experience working with students who have been identified as off-track.
  • Experience in integrating technology into classroom instruction.
  • Experience in implementing intensive classroom academic prevention and intervention strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida Educator's Certificate in a core content area.
  • Experience working in a school setting.
