Salesforce Cloud Architect Job Description

At TechJordan LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Salesforce Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight for all new and existing SaaS (Salesforce) implementations for the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, State of Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in vendor's solution design sessions for client projects, providing design guidance in areas such as extensions/modifications, data conversion, environment provisioning, and application integration.
  • Work with the customer and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and any future enhancements.
  • Lead technical workshops and design sessions with the customer, proposing and articulating design/architecture options with pros/cons.
  • Ensure that the technical requirements tie back to the established customer requirements and performance goals, and that the technical direction is consistent with the client's long-term strategy.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of working experience on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and 2+ years with Public Sector Foundation for licensing/permitting.
  • Experience in a minimum of two full lifecycle implementations, in-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce platform.
  • Assess architecture and provide secure, high-performance technical solutions on the platform.
  • Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems.
Preferred Skills:
  • Custom development experience using advanced structured programming (APEX, Java), Salesforce Flow Builder, Visual Flow Pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL.
  • Experience with migrating from Workflow rules/Process builder to Flow builder.
  • Demonstrates successful implementation of Batch Apex, Apex triggers, and classes.
  • Understands web services, REST services, and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment and interact with systems.
