Job Summary:

As a Security Officer at Froedtert Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing security services in and around the hospital, facilities, campus, ancillary clinics, and parking structures.
  • Responding promptly to various levels of dispatch calls as a visible deterrent, investigating unusual circumstances, assisting with de-escalation, and security enforcement.
  • Performing other duties as assigned, including providing support to patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of security experience or equivalent.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proof of training in a DAAT (Defense and Arrest Techniques) course within the previous three years or the ability to obtain certification within 120 days of hire.
  • Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-700 and the ICS-100 courses within six months of hire.
  • FTO (Field Training Officer) program completion within 120 days.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with CCTV systems and operation is preferred. Additionally, you should be able to:

  • Lift and carry up to 50Lbs occasionally.
  • Push-Pull force generation up to 100Lbs occasionally.
  • Climb stairs occasionally.
  • Walk frequently.
  • Get up and down from floor to standing independently.
