Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Associate to join our Analytics Insights Team. This remote position requires candidates to be located in specific states. As an Actuarial Consultant, you will collaborate with senior consultants to analyze market performance and strategies related to healthcare. This role offers the opportunity to develop analytical and consulting skills in a supportive environment, ideal for those passionate about driving strategic insights in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative solutions by applying expertise in the subject area, leveraging advanced mathematical and statistical techniques.
  • Support actuarial documentation and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in product line evaluations and risk assessment, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct actuarial analyses and modeling, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
  • Collaborate with business partners to provide non-technical recommendations, driving business growth and improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field.
  • Four years of actuarial experience.
  • Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate or Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience with Power BI visualization and dashboard development.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare claims.
