Job Summary:

As a Paramedic with American Medical Response (AMR), you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and emergency medical services to our communities. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Paramedic, providing advanced medical care and support to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced medical care, including defibrillation, EKG monitoring, oxygen therapy, and intravenous fluids, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with receiving facilities to receive medical direction and provide critical information.
  • Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide basic and advanced patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transfer.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Education/Licensing/Certification:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
    • CA Drivers' License
    • Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
    • Medical Examiner's Card or DL51 (from DMV)
    • State of California Paramedic License
    • CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY)
    • ACLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY)
    • PALS (American Heart Association ONLY)
    • PEPP (only required for Riverside & Ventura Co. applicants)
  • Experience:
    • Some past work experience, preferably in healthcare, desired.
