Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and front end.
  • Restock shelves, process transactions, and perform other tasks as needed to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving shipments and stocking shelves.
  • Assist with price changes, promotions, and other visual merchandising tasks as needed.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including counting cash and processing transactions.
Requirements
  • 6-12 months of retail experience, preferably in a cashier and/or stocking role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with cash handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced retail environment, with exposure to outside weather conditions. The noise level is moderate, and the temperature varies throughout the store.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is between $20.72 to $22.26 per hour, depending on experience and location. This role is eligible for overtime compensation and shift differential.
