Job Summary

Compass Group USA is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Food Service Operations to lead our culinary and hospitality teams in a corporate executive account. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in food service operations, team management, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct responsibility for the overall operations in a corporate executive account, including managing front of the house service teams, onsite Executive Chefs, and culinary teams.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Compass Group USA's policies and applicable laws, including training and growth of all associates, planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Financially accountable for the dining services department, operating the restaurant in accordance with the approved budget, and providing the client with maximum value for the dollars spent.
  • Ensure that the food offered to clients, customers, and employees of the operation is of superior quality, directing and conducting safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with employees, guests, and clients, as well as other departments within the operation, promoting the professional growth and development of the entire team.
  • Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in food service or a combination of education and work experience.
  • 2-4 years of progressive hospitality experience, preferably in operations management.
  • Must possess a valid Food Handler's Permit.
  • Demonstrated profit and loss management ability and client relations success.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office products.
