Job Summary

This role involves delivering compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing skills and knowledge, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing other medical procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive support throughout the care process.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and advancements in nephrology.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N).
  • Prior experience in critical care units, emergency rooms, or medical surgical settings is highly desirable.
  • Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is also preferred.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
