Fulfill routine orders for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals, and perform other related duties as a Pharmacy Technician at WellSpan Health.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists with filling orders and preparing labels.
Assist patients with taking prescriptions and necessary information, operate a cash register, and deliver medications as needed.
Submit and receive orders from suppliers, and enter and/or retrieve data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications.
Assist with I.V. preparation and delivery, and share responsibility with other team members for daily delivery of patient medications to a Script Center in Mt. Gretna, PA.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
No experience required, but a commitment to patient, visitor, and staff safety is essential.
Working Environment
Occupational hazards may occur occasionally.
