Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Unit Facilities Supervisor to manage all aspects of building operations within our organization.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and functional condition by overseeing work orders through internal resources and vendor partnerships, conducting regular facility inspections, and maintaining effective communication with management teams at each location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Development and Operations to optimize repair and maintenance costs, manage projects, and minimize downtime, thereby enhancing productivity and extending the lifespan of our assets.
  • Oversee the management of fixed assets and leasehold improvements across all locations.
  • Supervise, select, and coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure repairs are conducted efficiently and meet company standards.
  • Prioritize maintenance and repairs of assets that directly affect our guests and team members.
  • Analyze work orders, plan schedules, and manage repairs while following up with managers to resolve any issues.
  • Implement and monitor safety policies, codes, regulations, and procedures.
  • Lead a team of facilities personnel at the corporate level and provide recommendations for store-level candidates.
  • Direct maintenance staff and oversee equipment installation, repair, and preventive maintenance, while reviewing daily work orders submitted by locations.
  • Manage and support maintenance work orders and daily repairs for multiple sites, ensuring timely completion with a sense of urgency.
  • Track work orders, statuses, and repairs through the work order management system.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health department, and property management regulations, prioritizing these issues in accordance with all applicable standards.
  • Conduct bi-annual assessments of facilities.
  • Oversee repair and replacement functions, managing contractors and third-party services for a variety of restaurant equipment, electrical systems, HVAC/R, plumbing, and building structures.
  • Review repair and maintenance projects and budgets.
  • Assist operations and restaurant teams by troubleshooting issues over the phone to diagnose repairs.
  • Maintain the integrity of all vendor documentation, including Certificates of Insurance and Licenses for local vendors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational training in electrical or equipment management; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience overseeing multiple projects, along with 3-5 years of maintenance, mechanical, and facilities expertise.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.
  • Experience in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment is preferred, with a strong background in restaurant or cooking equipment being highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service, administrative, computer, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and work order management systems.
  • Preferred certifications include EPA or HVAC/R licenses.
  • Ability to operate and utilize all hand/power tools, diagnostic, and testing equipment.
  • Capacity to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
