Equipment Maintenance Specialist

FormFactor is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Livermore, CA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving semiconductor manufacturing equipment used in the production of state-of-the-art MEMS products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire a detailed understanding of the Fab processes and the equipment sets in terms of machine function, performance, and process capability.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues using company applications and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to improve equipment up-time and increase yields.
  • Participate in equipment installation/bring-up activities and provide technical expertise to the Operations team.
Requirements:
  • 2-year technical degree in Science, Math, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of experience in high-tech semiconductor equipment management.
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, fluidic circuits, and vision components.
  • Competent with Windows OS interfaces and MS Office suite.
Working Conditions:
  • Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, or crouching for prolonged periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Work area has fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
