Daily Responsibilities of a Construction Site Surveyor

  • Conduct precise and meticulous surveying and layout tasks on-site for large-scale construction initiatives.
  • Work closely with the project survey chief to meet project objectives and keep pace with field teams.
  • Foster positive interactions with Engineers, Subcontractors, and Vendors.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to Co-ops and Interns.
  • Assist the Project Team with additional tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in utilizing surveying instruments such as total stations, data collectors, grade rods, and GPS technology.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborative team environments.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, topographical maps, and other relevant engineering and construction documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in surveying and layout within the heavy industrial or related construction sectors.
