Job Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at The Colony Healthcare Center. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping residents improve their quality of life by assisting them in compensating for limitations and achieving independence.


Responsibilities



  • Help clients improve their motor skills and re-enter the labor force
  • Teach persons with learning disabilities to prepare meals or use public transportation
  • Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with Occupational Therapists
  • Comply with documentation requirements under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you must:



  • Hold a valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
  • Have obtained a degree from an accredited two-year associate degree program
