About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at a private outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic in Southern California. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Patient Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to meet their needs and goals.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, endurance, balance, and health.
  • Provide Patient Education: Educate patients on exercises, stretches, and techniques to improve function and prevent injury.
  • Monitor and Document Progress: Monitor patient progress and document their treatment plans to ensure accurate and thorough records.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care to patients.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for physical therapy.
  • Attend Trainings and Stay Current: Attend relevant trainings and maintain current knowledge of physical therapy treatments, interventions, and resources.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train physical therapy assistants or aides as needed.
Requirements
  • Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy: Hold a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • California State Licensure: Possess current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or be willing to obtain it.
  • Experience Preferred: Experience in physical therapy is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Physical Therapy Treatments: Knowledge of physical therapy treatments and interventions.
  • Ability to Maintain Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • BLS Certification: Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
