- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to the development of best practices for physical therapy and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay Current with Industry Developments: Attend relevant trainings and maintain current knowledge of physical therapy treatments, interventions, and resources.
- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train physical therapy assistants or aides as needed.
- Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy: From an accredited program.
- California State Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist, or willingness to obtain licensure.
- Experience: Preferred, but not required.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Physical Therapy Treatments: Familiarity with physical therapy treatments and interventions.
- Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance: Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification.
