About the Role:

Salem Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine examinations using state-of-the-art equipment. Your exceptional communication and critical thinking skills will enable you to deliver top-notch patient care and provide complete and accurate diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate nuclear medicine gamma cameras, probes, and computer systems
  • Perform nuclear medicine examinations for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement effective examination protocols to meet patient needs

Requirements:

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification
  • Current licensure in Nuclear Medicine with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
  • ARRT National Radiology License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
