Aquatics Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatics Director to join our team at the YMCA. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our aquatic programs and facilities.

• Program Development and Management
  • Develop and implement aquatic programs that meet the needs of our members and the community.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our aquatic facilities, including pool maintenance and safety protocols.
• Staff Supervision and Development
  • Supervise and train a team of aquatic staff, including lifeguards, swim instructors, and pool managers.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs to ensure compliance with YMCA standards and regulations.
• Financial Management
  • Develop and manage budgets for aquatic programs and facilities.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Community Engagement
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to promote the YMCA's aquatic programs and services.
  • Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders to support the YMCA's mission and goals.

• Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as recreation, education, or business.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aquatic management or a related field.
• Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
