We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Director to join our team at the YMCA. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our aquatic programs and facilities.

• Program Development and Management
  • Develop and implement new aquatic programs and services to meet the needs of our members and the community.
  • Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and services.
• Staff Supervision and Training
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of aquatic staff to provide high-quality services to our members.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
• Facility Management
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our aquatic facilities to ensure they are safe and well-maintained.
  • Develop and manage budgets for aquatic programs and facilities.
• Community Engagement
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with the community and promote our aquatic programs and services.
  • Build relationships with local organizations and businesses to support our mission and goals.

• Education and Experience
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aquatic program management or a related field.
• Skills and Qualifications
