Educational Support Specialist

Aveanna Healthcare LLC is seeking a qualified Educational Support Specialist to join our team.
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
Job Description:
In this role, you will provide direct support and instruction to students in achieving educational, social, and emotional goals throughout the school day. Key responsibilities include building good working relationships, being kind, considerate, and compassionate, and supporting students in displaying and maintaining on-task behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students in achieving their academic, social, and emotional goals
- Assist students with completing assigned work and tasks
- Support students in transitioning from one location or activity to another
- Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members
- Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
Requirements:
- High school graduate, GED or equivalent education and training
- Background checks as stipulated by local and/or state requirements
- First aid and/or CPR certification as stipulated by local and/or state requirements
- Registration or Certification as required by state requirements
