Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the preparation and submission of Forms 10-Q and 10-K, ensuring accuracy in footnotes, MD&A, XBRL tagging, and comprehensive reviews.
- Prepare, review, and/or file various SEC documents, including Forms S-3, S-8, 8-K, proxy statements, and Forms 3, 4, and 5.
- Coordinate the completion of external reporting tasks and maintain thorough documentation for all areas, including GAAP and SEC checklists.
- Manage the SEC reporting calendar and facilitate the review process with key stakeholders, including the Executive Committee.
- Review earnings releases, scripts for earnings calls, and presentations for investors.
- Address FASB proposals and SEC rule changes that may affect the organization.
- Assist in responding to SEC comment letters.
- Participate in meetings for the Company's Disclosure Committee and Audit Committee.
- Support the preparation of financial materials for presentations to the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and Senior Management.
- Help manage internal controls and compliance programs, supporting SOX compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with business partners on various transactions to ensure relevant accounting issues are identified, documented, and communicated effectively.
- Work with external auditors on complex transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Evaluate and document new accounting guidance from FASB, SEC, and other regulatory bodies, collaborating with business leaders for implementation.
- Develop formal accounting policies that align with business operations and relevant accounting standards.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and internal controls.
- Provide oversight for equity accounting.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and the preparation of monthly financial packages.
- CPA certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Big 4 audit is preferred.
- Must be a dedicated team player, adaptable to changes in a dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
