Plasma Center Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plasma Center Nurse to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Donor Eligibility: Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, including proper management of informed consent, medical history interview, and physical examination.
- Donor Reaction Management: Evaluate and manage donor reaction(s) that occur at the facility, following applicable SOPs and executing Center Physician's standing orders.
- Donor Deferral: Manage donor deferral, reviewing test results and notifying donors of unsuitable test results per applicable SOPs.
- Post Donation Information: Initiate and investigate Post Donation Information (PDI).
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the Center Medical Team to ensure coverage of all operating hours and provide exceptional customer service to donors and employees.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent graduate of a recognized educational nursing program.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Certifications: Currently licensed or certified in the state where duties will be assigned: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA). Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification required.
