Job Summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations and coordinate logistics in our distribution center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring departmental performance to meet service level, accuracy, and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly action plans to achieve departmental and DC performance expectations.
  • Monitor and direct associates to attain departmental and DC goals, including maintaining labor budget, proper labor planning, and resource requirements.
  • Coach and develop associates to achieve performance goals and objectives, including on-the-job training, feedback, and performance appraisals.
  • Foster excellent communication and teamwork among associates, maintaining open communication, daily start-up meetings, and department morale.
  • Create a safe work environment for associates, ensuring proper equipment, clean work areas, and educating associates on proper techniques.
  • Continuously analyze and improve department processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in warehousing/distribution, with two or more years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with intense peak seasons.
  • Outstanding leadership qualities, including assertiveness, organization, enthusiasm, decisiveness, planning, confidence, accountability, effective delegation, perseverance, and credibility.
  • Proven ability to deal well with people at all levels and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.
