Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fire Suppression Manager to oversee the overall management, operations, and financial performance of our Fire Suppression department. This key role will provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure profitability, growth, and high-performance metrics.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Oversight of fire extinguisher inspections & services, pre-engineered inspections, services, & installs, and fire alarm & security inspections & services.
  2. Management of the financial performance of assigned departments as indicated on Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, including gross revenue, gross margin, and overhead.
  3. Communication and strategy with management regarding financial progress, growth strategies, human capital requirements, and regular or irregular needs of the office.
  4. Ensuring proper execution of internal workflow/paperwork, work in the field, quality assurance/quality control, and all work is performed in a safe manner within local, state, federal guidelines.
  5. Achieving departmental objectives through enhancement and improvements of operations and processes.
  6. Maintenance of proper staffing levels using company procedures and policies, in conjunction with bid projection and utilization of Human Resources for Talent requirements.
  7. Oversight of proper use, maintenance, and repair of company assets including equipment, tools, supplies, and fleet in coordination with corporate Purchasing and Fleet department.
  8. Management of work performed within assigned areas, including spot checks, ride-a-longs, and ongoing training:

Salary Information

This position offers a highly competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for bonuses and other benefits packages.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent, required.
  • 10 years of experience in the Fire Life Safety Industry, specifically within Fire Suppression.
  • 7 years of professional computer skills.
  • 5 years of Supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to comply with SFS's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements.
  • Must be able to travel 90% of the time.
