Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular lab exams using advanced ultrasound equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination and Reporting: Conduct a wide range of vascular lab exams, including duplex imaging, Doppler, and plethysmography, to accurately diagnose and differentiate between normal and abnormal findings.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain all vascular lab testing equipment, including ultrasound and physiological equipment, EMR, and PACS systems.
  • Quality Assurance and Patient Care: Ensure that all exams are completed to the highest standards of quality and patient care, adhering to IAC-approved scanning protocols and Smart Protocols.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with reading physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnoses.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Associate's degree in radiology or sonography, with ARDMS certification (RVT or CCI) or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of vascular sonography experience, with a strong understanding of vascular anatomy and hemodynamics.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proficient computer skills, knowledge of office equipment, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
