MRG Exams is a leading provider of healthcare services, and we are currently seeking a licensed audiologist to join our team as a travelling examiner. As an audiologist with MRG Exams, you will have the opportunity to conduct disability assessments for US Veterans across various locations.

Schedule and Benefits

  • This is an in-person position, offering a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, with no weekends or on-call duties.
  • You will typically travel from your home Sunday evening and return Friday evening.
  • The salary for this role is $3000 per week.

Job Description

As an audiologist with MRG Exams, your primary responsibility will be to conduct medical evaluations for US Veterans as part of their disability benefits process. You will travel to different locations, staying in each destination city for approximately one week at a time, and conduct exams from Monday to Friday. The average number of patients you will review per day is 3-6.

Before each appointment, you will review the patient's uploaded medical records through a computer portal. Your tasks during the appointment will include conducting a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. This information will form the basis of the VA's decision regarding the veteran's benefits.

Please note that as an audiologist with MRG Exams, you will not be required to prescribe any medical treatments or devices.

Requirements

  • Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school.
  • Current license as an audiologist.
  • Malpractice insurance covered by MRG.
  • Health insurance options available.
  • ASHA Learning Pass membership (CEU).
