Diagnostic Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

This is a travel opportunity, with the Audiologist traveling to different locations across the United States, staying in each destination city for a week at a time to conduct exams from Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will have the flexibility to choose which weeks they would like to travel.

Schedule: The typical schedule involves traveling from home on Sunday evening and returning home on Friday evening.

This is an IN-PERSON position that offers 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes per patient, without evenings, on-call, weekends, or hearing aid sales.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests on Veterans.
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQ) in a computer portal, providing medical evidence for the VA to decide Veteran benefits.

Requirements

  • Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school.
  • Current license as an Audiologist.
  • Malpractice Insurance covered by MRG Exams.
  • Health insurance options available.
  • ASHA Learning Pass membership (CEU).
