Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Corporate Finance Transformation & Ops Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and delivering complex business system analysis assignments/projects, acting as a resource to internal/external stakeholders, and collaborating with business stakeholders to define and validate information technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
- Provide system support in a production environment, minimizing disruptions and ensuring timely remediation.
- Monitor Managed Service Provider (MSP) activity and provide direction as necessary to ensure deliverables are accurate and on-time.
- Act as a liaison between business partners and IT developers or external vendor support.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality.
- Use structured requirements process, clearly articulating, documenting, and validating complex technical requirements.
- Consult and act as a resource to appropriate internal/external stakeholders to assess and deliver proposed technical solutions meeting business requirements.
- Determine and recommend the most appropriate technical response to identified complex problems, issues, and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization.
- Serve as a mentor and share knowledge with less experienced team members.
- Promote business usage of technology to add value to the business.
- Develop complex test plans, perform testing as needed, and document results.
- Post-implementation system checkout.
- System configuration and table maintenance.
- Create and present system training material and system-related documents as needed.
- Years of experience in business systems or process support that closely aligns with the specific responsibilities of system maintenance, projects, and customer support.
- 1+ Years: Review and analyze multiple complex data sources and document data elements, data flow, relationships, and dependencies.
- Experience creating standard project documentation, including business requirements, test plans, etc.
- General knowledge of accounting concepts.
- Experience creating SQL queries against DB tables.
- Experience with data analytics software, such as Dataiku or Alteryx.
- Experience with report or dashboard creation in applications, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Crystal.
