Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Behavioral Health Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating patient care and personnel needs, planning and developing ambulatory healthcare services, and overseeing multi-specialty nursing services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate patient care and personnel needs to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Plan, develop, and implement ambulatory healthcare services, programs, and activities to meet patient and family needs.
- Oversee multi-specialty nursing services, including behavioral health, to ensure effective care delivery.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize resource utilization and improve patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement processes for ongoing quality improvement in clinic operations.
- Manage the clinic in the absence of the ED manager and be available on-call for emergencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience required; management experience preferred.
- Combination of Emergency Department and Behavioral Health experience required.
- Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina required.
- BLS certification required.
