We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Investigator to join our team at Swoon. Key Responsibilities- Claims Investigation and Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations of complex workers' compensation claims, gathering information to determine exposure and develop strategies for resolution.
- Settlement Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with claimants, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Litigation Management: Manage the litigation process, ensuring timely and cost-effective claims resolution through effective communication and negotiation with attorneys, judges, and other parties involved.
- Claim Recovery: Identify and pursue claim recoveries, including subrogation, Second Injury Fund excess recoveries, and Social Security and Medicare offsets.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant claims and workers' compensation experience.
- Certifications: Active SIP Certification is required.
- Licenses: Active Workers Compensation License is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree highly preferred.
